At The Nook Nursery, our mission is simple: to create a nurturing space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn through play.
We believe every child is unique and that childhood should be joyful, curious, and rooted in kindness.
Our aim is to provide a warm, home like environment where little ones can explore, grow, and build strong foundations for life.
We build strong, caring relationships with children and families.
We support every child’s learning journey at their own pace.
We encourage discovery, creativity, and independence.
We embrace nature, community, and cultural diversity.
We work closely with families to celebrate each child’s progress.
We’re here to support not just your child’s development, but your peace of mind as a parent.
Choosing childcare is a big decision. We’re here to make it easier.
Here’s what makes The Nook special:

we healed 1000+ students

At The Nook, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, inspired by the Curiosity Approach, in a way that feels natural, nurturing, and genuinely child-led.
We believe children learn best when they feel safe, heard, and inspired. Our curriculum is shaped around each child’s interests, ideas, and stage of development, allowing learning to unfold at a pace that feels right for them.
Our learning environment is calm, creative, and thoughtfully designed. We use real-life and natural materials wherever possible, favouring open ended resources over plastic toys. Our spaces are carefully arranged to spark curiosity, encourage problem solving, and support imaginative play, both indoors and outdoors.
Learning at The Nook is not rushed, it unfolds through exploration, relationships, and meaningful experiences.
We support children’s development across all seven areas of the EYFS:
Every child has a dedicated key worker who gets to know them deeply. Through daily observation, we tailor learning to your child’s interests and needs, planning meaningful next steps. We also keep you closely involved, celebrating milestones and supporting their journey together.
We believe the outdoors is just as important as the classroom. Children have the freedom to play and learn outside every day, exploring the garden, growing vegetables, watching the seasons change, and connecting with nature.
Each week, we offer age-appropriate yoga sessions for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. These gentle sessions support physical coordination, balance, body awareness, and emotional wellbeing — all through joyful movement.
Our nursery is designed to feel warm and familiar — a safe, inclusive space where children from all backgrounds feel at home. We celebrate cultural traditions, family experiences, and personal stories, helping each child feel seen, valued, and proud of who they are.

Food at The Nook is about nourishment, joy, and togetherness.
We provide fresh, seasonal meals and snacks made from scratch in our kitchen.
Mealtimes are unhurried and social – a chance to connect, taste, share, and build confidence.
Children serve themselves, pour their own water, and are never rushed or pressured.

We treat mealtimes as meaningful learning moments, not just time to refuel. Children are encouraged to try new foods, serve themselves, and sit together in a calm, social environment. There’s no pressure to finish plates, just gentle encouragement, choice and celebration of trying something new.
From toddlers to preschoolers, we help children build confidence at the table, learning to use cutlery, pour their own drinks and share food with friends. These everyday routines support self-esteem and social development.
Our full rotating menu will be shared with parents ahead of opening, with seasonal updates throughout the year to keep things fresh and exciting.
